Eden Foundation - Light up the Night

The Eden Foundation’s “Light Up the Night” takes place on November 30 at the Eden Mental Health Centre grounds, bringing our community together to raise funds for Eden’s mental health programs in our community while spreading holiday cheer with an outdoor market and winter activities.

The holiday season can be a joyful time, but for many people it can also feel heavy—especially for those facing mental health challenges. That’s why this event is so important. The sponsored trees we light together will shine throughout the winter as a symbol of hope and comfort, reminding everyone that they are not alone.

This year, the celebration will include an outdoor Christmas Market with local vendors, cozy bonfires, a skating path, festive sleigh rides, and a snow building competition hosted by Winkler Arts & Culture. The Christmas trees and candy cane displays you help support will also stay up all winter long at the grounds, creating a bright and welcoming space for the whole community.

All net proceeds will go directly to supporting Eden and the vital mental health services they provide.

The 23rd annual Head for the Hills took place at the Cripple Creek Music Festival Grounds, where riders enjoyed three scenic routes—gravel, trail, and a new relaxed family ride—with E-bikes welcome on all. A discounted youth rate made it easier than ever for families to join in.

Every pedal supported Eden Foundation’s mental health services, including housing, counselling, and employment programs across southern Manitoba. Riders took part solo, with teams, and in memory of loved ones—making a real difference for the community.

With exciting bike prize draws, fundraising milestones, and the chance to ride for recovery, community, and hope, this event was one of our most memorable years yet.
